First Friday in June

On Friday, June 1st, Roberta Meek, Jazz Singer extraordinaire, will be returning to The Dovetail Artisans to perform some jazz standards and original renditions of some not-so-standard pieces.  If you haven’t heard her sing, you will be awestruck by her talent.  Father’s Day Special:  20% off Father’s Day cards AND anything in wood!  Wine and Cheese will be served.  6pm-8pm

First Friday in July

On Friday, July 6th, musician Joe Mahoney will return to the Dovetail for an evening of music, fun and refreshments, 6-8pm.  Long time Jenkintown resident Joe Mahoney spent his teenage years playing area coffee houses and open mike nights.  Joe began performing again several years ago at various local venues, with a repertoire that includes the songs of Bob Dylan, John Prine, and Lyle Lovett.  Joe will sing songs of these artists and others, performing on guitar and mandolin.

First Friday in August

On August 3rd, Gail Garin returns to serenade us with mountain dulcimer and vocals. Her repertoire includes folk tunes and ballads primarily from the British Isles, France, and the United States. She has performed at coffee houses, folk festivals, churches, and other venues, locally, and in such exotic locations as Kansas and France!
